Digital inspection cameras capture quality images, record video as new diagnostic tools

12/01/2008

Newly introduced microEXPLORER Digital Inspection Cameras examine hidden and unseen areas -- but moreover capture digital quality images and record video to analyze problems for accurate diagnosis.

As the "next generation" of SeeSnake micro inspection camera, microEXPLORER is a powerful hand-held configuration. It enables you to take digital-quality images and record video onto on-board memory or secure digital (SD) card inserted into the integrated SD slot in the unit. An integrated mini USB is also available to transfer recorded information onto a computer. There it can be saved, emailed, or posted online for customers or technicians.

Its high-resolution anodized aluminum camera head with a water and scratch-resistant sapphire lens sits at the tip of a flexible 3-ft cable. It is reinforced with a waterproof vinyl jacket.

The camera focuses on a specific area using 3X digital zoom and/or pan functions on its easy-to-use, menu-driven graphic user interface. It's controlled by buttons located on top of the comfort-grip handle.

microEXPLORER's camera captures JPEG images or AVI videos displayed on its 3.5-in. color LCD screen. It's equipped with four fully adjustable LEDs for a range of super bright to soft light for any job.
