Atlas II power winches are now on the market.

They’re engineered to “provide the rugged durability and portability necessary to accommodate a broad range of oil and gas applications and requirements,” announces the manufacturer.

Cast aluminum bodies keep the power winch compact and light weight — but with a 2-ton load capacity. This suits for lifting equipment and positioning pipe. Lifting handles built onto the frame facilitate easy attachment of lifting straps for worksite positioning and transport.

The winch’s precision machine-cut gearing with an enclosed oil bath help reduce wear and assure long lasting operations. Corrosion-resistant epoxy finishes are also available to extend operating life in harsh offshore rig saltwater environments. More Atlas II data are yours free.
