WrightGrip open-end wrenches are now available in 7 to 24-mm sizes.
These high-strength, anti-slip tools’ open-end design fits more snugly on the fastener to prevent the jaws from spreading and to keep the wrench from slipping, declares the manufacturer.
WrightGrip’s design incorporates a series of strategically placed teeth or grooves on the insides of tool’s two jaws. These teeth allow for a better seating of the wrench on a fastener. One fastener corner locks into the grooves so a fastener won’t slip or twist out of the wrench under load.
Design also includes a slight enlargement of the wrench opening’s back end. Additional metal in this high-stress area helps stiffen wrench jaws — decreasing the chance of jaw spreading under heavy loads.
