New thin-walled 304 stainless steel ECO-Pipe is out as part of the ProPress stainless system. It offers an “economical solution for stainless steel pipe systems that require corrosion resistance.”

ECO-Pipe and ProPress system join stainless steel pipe via press technology. They secure pipe connections in less than 7 sec, according to the manufacturer. ProPress comprises pipe, valves, and fittings for fast, flameless making of water-tight, gas-tight stainless steel connections.

ECO-Pipe is designed to give contractors as much as 20% savings over standard stainless steel.

ProPress can be installed wet or dry for maintenance or emergency repairs jobs — reducing costly downtime by decreasing plant shutdowns.
