New DXN portable ultrasonic flow and heat meters are on the market.

They’re built on hybrid metering technology that automatically switches between transit time and Doppler modes as needed. DXN comprises 7-in. full-color touchscreen, ability to store site-specific settings using plain text, plus advanced, highly adaptable software interface.

The flow and heat meter is built on a rugged hardware platform. It leverages modern microprocessing and digital signal processing. These deliver extremely fast response times on the order of 20 ms and faster, as well as durability to handle tough applications, notes the maker.

DXN is currently available in a variety of kit configurations from basic with two sets of transit time transducers, cabling, and compact carrying case — to a complete kit with transit time, Doppler, RTD, and wall thickness gauge.
