It’s new to “play an essential role in environmentally safe solids disposal by collecting slurry that is much heavier than conventional sand jetting systems.” It transports up to 4 ton of solids an hour, per device.

Installed near the bottom of a vessel, each gRAY treats approximately 1M² of floor space. A motive fluid stream is applied. This creates a vortex at the base to evacuate settled solids into the discharge port and transport them out of the process vessel. That vessel’s native pressure or assistance of an eductor transports resulting slurry. By using minimal flow and pressure of motive fluids and no moving parts — the device also minimizes erosion. gRAY can also be used with its maker’s gMAX sand cleaning and bagging system to produce eco-friendly, oil-free solids for disposal.
