New EDP300 digital positioners regulate air-driven linear and rotary actuators, including control valves.

They incorporate an advanced algorithm to precisely position a valve actuator with accuracy and speed. They also offer their manufacturer’s best-in-class Human Machine Interface with menu-driven programming and control selection of options.

EDP300 diagnostics include optional pressure sensors to determine valve/actuator performance. This allows engineers to monitor actuator conditions in real-time for improved process reliability.

Positioners also incorporate a partial stroke test function for in-process verification of valve integrity. With an integrated valve signature function — actuator and positioner assembly baseline testing and verification can be performed without need for additional hardware.

This instrument provides up to 23-scfm air capacity for fast valve travel. This eliminates need for volume boosters. Supply pressures up to 145 psi offer outstanding valve seating load.
