Protect temperature instruments from process system pressure and velocity damage with new thermowell sensor assemblies.

For instrument safeguard from viscous, abrasive, or corrosive materials — each assembly is complete. They comprise connection head, spring fitting or nipple union nipple, Resistance Temperature Detector or thermocouple, and thermowell. The latter are available in threaded, flanged, VanStone, socket weld, or weld-in.

Based upon application, the sensor assemblies come in RTD or thermocouple temperature sensor options. Both are used to measure temperature but each varies in temperature, range, tolerance, accuracy, interchangeability, and cost.

Connection heads and fittings complete Thermowell Sensor Assembly. They are offered in cast iron, aluminum, or 316 stainless steel and meet NEMA 4X requirements. They provide a clean, protected area for a terminal block or transmitter. The fittings are spring-loaded or nipple union nipple in stainless steel or carbon steel.
