Ultrasonic level sensors range recently Group II ATEX-approved

01/26/2012

TX5862 & TX5861 ultrasonic level sensors have received ATEX approval for use in Group II hazardous areas.

These compact, easily installed, noncontact level measurement instruments are for use with most liquids, emulsion, suspensions, and bulk solids, declares their manufacturer.

TX5862 uses intelligent evaluation filters to block interfering acoustic signals to more accurately determine valid signals and reject false reflections. Dynamic temperature compensation ensures high accuracy. Measured level is directly displayed on an integral bright digital OLED display.

TX5861 utilize the same high-integrity measurement system. It’s for uses when a local digital display is not required. There is a choice of process mounting options plus quick-release waterproof connector for the sensor cable. Offered with a current or voltage output — setup is quick and simple via two pushbuttons and status-indicating LED.
