EPL-SMLED-20W-1445 explosionproof infrared LED lights are new to deliver 1,145-nm illumination normally applied in spectroscopic testing and analysis.

The permanent surface mounted lights are designed for Class 1 Div. 1 locations. They produce IR light without need for lenses or filters. As cool running and portable designs they are suited for wet or corrosive environments. They operate from any source of 9 to 48-v DC.

The light’s IR is invisible to the naked eye but said to be ideal for specialized applications where testing and observation of molecular structures and chemical composition is performed.

The LED light’s heavy-duty aluminum body is watertight tested to resist corrosion from exposure to salt water and wet environments. Additional details are free.
