Hercules comprises pressure-activated shutdown switch, manifold connection, and HPLUG high performance lubricating upper gland. The switch provides positive flow shut down whenever maximum pressure setting is exceeded due to oil, water, or gas leakage.

HPLUG delivers a secondary seal for additional leakage protection. It is especially useful for wells producing from formations that can ‘kick’ — preventing leakage caused by sudden pressure surge that often escape past the primary cone packing.
