Diesel engine emergency overspeed shutdown
RODA DEACO VALVES deliver emergency overspeed shutdown of diesel engines. These positive-spring-operated air intake cut off devices release to starve an engine of air — stopping it. They’re applicable when mechanical failure or presence of combustible vapors in an engine’s atmosphere may cause overspeed with resulting damage to the engine and surrounding atmosphere. The 1 to 7-in.-diameter compact “swing gate” designed valves comprise aluminum, brass, and stainless steel.
