Pipe connector, flow control products company re-launches
Securamax, the pipe connector and flow control products company, has re-launched itself as a global organization, SMX International, with a new corporate identity, new structure, and an expanding range of high performance pressure connection and flow control products to the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry worldwide.
Under its new name and branding, SMX International has established a network of international centers and will be moving into new global markets with new product introductions.
The company, headquartered in Ontario, Canada and originally incorporated more than 30 years ago, has recently implemented a considerable investment program in new equipment and machinery, and in people. In particular, SMX International has appointed a number of experienced industry specialists in strategically located regional offices in Canada, USA, the Middle East, and Europe, as part of its on-going expansion program, as well as specialists to head up its product development programs.
SMX International offers high integrity pipe connectors, forged fittings and flow control products for critical applications. Best known among these is the SMX clamp connector, offering significant benefits over traditional ANSI flange connections, including substantial space and weight savings and leak-free performance.
As SMX International, the company is introducing a number of new products over the coming months, representing valuable additions to its product portfolio, to meet its customers' pressure connection and flow control needs. The new SMX Non-Slam Nozzle Check Valve, for example, with unique dual-spring closing action, is currently in production.
