New tri-branded oil introduced for power plant gas turbines
Diamond Class Turbine Oil is introduced to meet complex performance demands of power plant gas turbines. The advanced offering features Conoco, 76 Lubricants, and Phillips 66 brands formulated from exclusive ConocoPhillips hydrocracked base stocks. It is available in 32, 46, and 68 viscosity grades to provide varnish protection.
Oxidation life of Diamond Class has been significantly extended -- and proven its durability in laboratory test running 35,000 hr with zero varnish deposits, it's noted. The oil is formulated for gas turbines that operate at up to 500°F. which can quickly break down oils and produce corrosive acid and sludge buildup.
